Hey guys! Check out this world I made.. by Noben Hey guys! Check out this world I made.. by Noben
For kavana and curzan over on FurAffinity, and in turn to all people that are fans of my art. This was was self indulgent to the max. I've been down for a while and just as I finally got thru it they were there and told me to draw something for myself, specifically to draw what I want and so I did and I really enjoyed it. Thanks guys. ^_^

The concept struck me quickly. The artist loves the fact that they can not only create their own world, but share it with their friends. And expanding that idea into something as epic as literally creating your own world. It's not too cheesy either, even though I'm a little iffy about the font you used to display the words.
I like the scene the most out of the whole piece, though. Because you're staging an idea as alien as world-creating in one of the most natural known settings, a connection can be made, especially with people that grew up near a creek. Even if a pale blue planet is looming on the horizon, the mood is warm like a campfire on a warm summer night.
Put in short, this has very nice composition and placement of characters, as well as color and lighting.
What do you think?

i had hoped you would do something just for you for quite a while, its important you enjoy your talents and it not feel too much like 'work'

anything else you could make that would put a smile on your face?

The green dude could represent dA, and the purple chick could represent FA?

Because I like thinking that, and I like it.

The level of detail here is very impressive, and I believe it outshines a lot of the artist's other work. The balance of the layers works very well, as does the sense of depth. The background is just detailed enough to catch the eye without dominating the picture. The characters are well rendered and natural looking in their poses. The lighting is consistent without fail. Even the little detail of having the artist's name being 'scratched' into the wood rather than the normal signature style shows the attention to detail that was clearly lavished on this image. It might seem that the dock and bank below it are slightly lacking in detail, however, again, I believe this works to the best of keeping the viewer's attention on the characters without bogging down the eyes.

A very inspiring piece that shows the artist's skills.
Well done Noben, well done indeed.

Wow, this is very special. I see a bit of story here, actually quite a bit of story.

Indulgence has its place and it works well. The colors are great too.
