very very nice, flowing of the mane looks very good on her. colours seem right but she should be just a teeny tiny bit moree pinkish. the way you made her mane fade a bit at the tips is unique, i think at least. nice background with clifs, trees and an ocean, a little clicé but this one... this one just speaks to me... also that look in hey eyes... she looks... well she looks like she's thinking about some serious royalty isseus. what i mean to say with all this is... good job, very good and please keep on making these things!
First off, I've been watching Altermeta for years and I gotta say your style + MLP fanart = AWESOME. This piece, and the Midnight in Canterlot one, are gorgeous and go beyond the typical MLP fanart in so many ways. You don't just rearrange the original artist's style and characters into different poses and put them on a background composed of different elements from the show. That stuff is all well and good but what you've done is actually interpret these characters in YOUR own way, which is how really good fanart should be done, and it shows off YOUR particular skillset. The colors are gorgeous, the lighting is very well done, the composition is engaging, and the overall feel of the piece is warm and inviting. Plus, I get a real sense of depth and personality to her character, not just a lovely piece of artwork. Well done.
I know this has been asked, and its an old pic, but still, no reason not to try. Is there an ultra-large version available anywhere? The original one, 3200ish. Would make it fit that much better on a larger display :3
HER HAIR! I AM COMPELLED TO FEEL ITS TEXTURE, BUT I CAN'T! THIS SUX!
Anyway... wait, that's a mole on her cheek? Huh. I thought it was an extended mouthstretch, one of those smiles or frowns that aren't really smiles or frowns, just an extended flat mouth. What is that called? But the mole-on-her-cheek thing makes her face not look so... big, now. lol GREAT PHOTO!
I don't recall any notes, and I've gotten a lot of messages that it's overwhelming. Although I do like to know where my art is being featured, it's fine so long as it's not edited and the source/credit is properly given.
