This part was easily the most memorable thing about that episode for me.
Not my best, but since I had something down already I just did what I could for it. I still don't like it, but it's something that got drawn.
The episode itself didn't stand out much, in my opinion. I think the only other memorable part is how much of a speaking part Big McIntosh (that's how it's spelled, right? I don't really know.) had at the beginning.

That's funny. I read that totally in Apple Jack's voice. Your impersonations in my head are really good. X)
I know this scene. But compared to the other paintings this laggs of certain detail, or love for the detail. Twilights head, or more specific, her ear, looks quite weird. I think it's too big, so is her monsterous hoof.
I love the style. The ears seem a bit large. When I imagine them speaking it has a lot of punch. Nice job for one you don't like.
Based on the style, I may well be contacting you for a commission, provided you do them.

Back and in force! lol.
Lovely as always, even if a bit "simpler" than your usual it still maintains the charm.
And yar, thats the proper spelling. Surprised no ones tried to claim is "Macintosh" yet.. So many people don't know that Macintosh is the computer apple, where Big Mac is named for the Mcintosh breed of fruit apple!

Twilights horn looks a little...weird like it looks like a dick, cuz it bends...upwards....otherwise good picture.
My favorite part of this episode...just watching her struggle upside down made me laugh. Nice job!
This is one of my absolute faves for Applejack. Sure, its probably her worst one considering how she acts in it, but I just love the can-do attitude she uses. Biggest reason I love this episode is because I tend to emulate that hard-working mentality a lot.
Eyup, that’s the right spelling! And indeed, I think that’s the biggest speech he’s given in the entire series to date.
That is an adorable piece of work you put together. The hair in AJ's made is nice done for her position.
That really was an adorable scene. And unfortunately we haven't seen how she got down from that predicament - we only heard the sound.
Looks very cute, a good interpretation

The composition and “life” are good, with eye contact between the character, good diagonals connecting them, and visual balance across the image area. Applejack’s rear legs create a couple of tangents, but nothing terrible. Maybe AJ could look a little more exhausted, with bags under the eyes, but her confusion and woefulness come through well. Twilight’s emoting is spot-on.
The writing in the early episodes was a little shaky, I agree. They hadn’t gotten a firm handle on the characters’ personalities yet, and even more than that, they hadn’t zeroed in on the tone and feel that characterized later episodes.
Based on the pony girls's face expressions, you can easily tell this picture gives off a sense of goofiness and silliness. The wagon and three barrels of apples make you look at each one after another because of how neatly they're lined up. The bright, blue color of the sky leads your eyes down to the barrels of apples.
